LAVA Winter Season

 

Tryout Date: Sunday, November 13, 2011 – All ages
Tryout Times: 9am-10:30am – 6th grade and younger
     9am -11:30am – 7th and 8th graders
     12pm – 3pm – 9th and 10th graders
    3:30pm – 5:30pm 11th and 12th graders
Practices are January 9 – March 25. Practices are two hours, twice a week. All practices are Tuesdays and Thursday. Practice times will be from 6-8pm and 8-10pm. 
Form your own team option: Form your own team and you don’t have to attend tryouts! Send in a registration form for each player and their check and LAVA will assign a coach. You get to choose your practice time, your coach and who you play with!! Each team MUST have 10 players or divide the cost of ten among a lower number. Please send in checks and registrations together. Your team will only be accepted if all ten registrations are together!
Play with a friend: If you have a friend you would like to play with or need to be together for car pooling purposes, please let us know! We will do our best to place you on a team together!
Tryout fee: $15 for previous LAVA players
           $20 for new participants
Registration deadline: Please register by Wednesday, November 9th or a late fee of $20 will be assessed. This is to ensure we have enough staff to assist with tryouts.

Two: online at www.golava.org    (Available on October 26, 2011)
Three: call 989.640.3390 
Tryout Location: Lansing Community College, third floor of Gannon Building
Cost of program: $450 (full payment MUST be received at tryouts – no exceptions!) This includes: practice time, tournament entries, coaches pay, spandex, two jerseys, and a warm-up jacket. Players have the option to purchase warm-up bottoms and a LAVA bag for an additional fee. Please see website and registration form for this option.  
Refunds: No refunds will be issued unless a medical issue arises. Due to the immediate ordering of uniforms and tournament entries, LAVA incurs immediate cost and if a player drops, those charges will be passed on to the player.
