Court One Training Center
The Court One Training Center, altthough owned by Court One, has a seperate purpose than the two membership based athletic clubs. This facility is geared toward team or individual training and development, hosting private events, fundraisers, and social gatherings.
On any given day, the Court One Training Center buzzes with diverse activities such as roller derby, volleyball, basketball, floor hockey, baseball, golf, dance, and even dog training. We’ve also hosted baby showers, open houses, birthday parties, fundraisers, and more. Our outdoor facilities include a well-maintained football and soccer field, a newly paved parking lot, and ample space for various activities. We are committed to continuing the development and expansion of our facility, enhancing access for individuals, teams, and small businesses. We are community-minded, youth-athlete focused, and wellness-driven.

History:
Formerly known as Lakeside Christian Academy, this property was once owned by a local church and served as a school. In 2013, Court One Athletic Clubs acquired the property and transformed it into the Court One Training Center. What used to be classrooms have been converted into an expanded gym, which now includes hitting tunnels for both golf and baseball, an additional volleyball court, and the front of the building houses East Lansing CrossFit. The south side of the building is home to the Children’s Garden Early Learning Community.
The Court One Training Center is available to rent for all organizations and types of events.

Unfortunately no, this is not a membership based facility. Because of the growing demand for sports rental space, the Court One Training Center is used for just that. This facility is not set up at all like the Athletic Clubs, volleyball, basketball, roller derby, and other events and programs of all types rent the space at this facility to provide valuable programs to our community.

Absolutely! We have coaches coming in all the time to use a basketball hoop or a batting cage. Let us know how we can help you teach the kids that matter to you!
Yes! We actually have several other business that lease space from the Training Center. Here are a few:
No, we do not have any equipment that you are used to seeing in the clubs. This facility is used for rentals to sports teams, organizations, and for private events.
Well here is a quick list but we are open to any suggestions and the Training Center is a multi-use facility.
- Basketball -our gym has one varsity court, two smaller 80′ courts, and a 30′ x 80′ ball handling area with eight (8) total hoops in the gym
- Volleyball – We have three courts available for rent
- Lacrosse – We have a full size outdoor football/ soccer field and lacrosse field.
- Dance – Our gym is big, but we can break off areas that can be used for dance
- Dodgeball – Up to three courts of dodgeball can be used at one time.
- Soccer – We have a full size outdoor football/ soccer field and lacrosse field.
- Football – We have a full size outdoor football/ soccer field and lacrosse field.
- Roller Derby – We are the home of Lansing Roller Derby! We have 10,400 sq ft. of gym floor that can be used for practice and competition.
- Baseball
- Softball
- Floor Hockey
- Anything else you can think of!

This facility is not staffed during the day, because most our rentals are in the evening, and access is granted remotely to those groups.
